Project Overview:

This project involves a children's playroom within a coffee shop in  USA, designed specifically for children aged 0-7 years. The playroom spans two floors with a total area of 200m² and features a rectangular layout with an interior height of 4.5 meters. The goal is to create a comfortable coffee shop integrated with a play area where parents can relax while their children explore and engage in imaginative play. The focus is on building a playroom with diverse play opportunities, promoting interaction, physical development, creativity, and social engagement.

Design Description:

The indoor activity room consists of two levels:

First Floor Design:

Themed around a romantic candy concept, the design incorporates colorful elements such as candy and rainbows, providing children with a visually stimulating environment. This space offers multifunctional and interactive play areas to inspire creativity and physical growth in children.

Second Floor Design:

Incorporating a mini-town theme, the design creates a miniature city to enhance children's social skills. Through role-playing, children can explore various roles, fostering self-awareness and understanding relationships with others.

Zoning Description:

Parent Coffee Lounge:

Designed with comfortable sofas and bar stools, this area provides parents with a relaxing and enjoyable space.

Soft-Padded Slide Area:

Featuring a variety of heights, geometric shapes, and candy-colored elements, the soft-padded play area is visually dynamic and well-designed. A 3-meter-high slide integrated with a multi-layered net connects the first floor to the basement, providing sensory stimulation while encouraging creativity and physical development.

Main Playground Area:

The main playground uses vibrant, playful colors and detailed design to cater to children of different age groups.

Toddler Zone: Equipped with a 1.2-meter slide and ball pit to help young children develop coordination and balance.

Older Kids Zone: Includes features like volcano climbing, crossing nets, layered nets, foam pits, and trampolines to foster courage, problem-solving skills, and muscle development.

Soft-Padded Sensory Integration Area:

This zone helps enhance children's coordination and assists them in exploring and adapting to new environments while developing their thinking, observation, judgment, and execution skills.

Role-Playing Zone:

This area includes a mini supermarket, police station, coffee shop, farm, and hospital. A cycling track naturally connects these role-playing houses, along with a parking area, allowing children to fully experience the charm of different professions.
