Maple Bear Canadian School Alcin Gardens is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is one of the branches of Maple Bear Canadian School. At present, MooTon has undertaken the design of multiple branches of Maple Bear Canadian School. In view of the school's school-running system and school-running characteristics, MooTon designed and planned around these two points of the school and created a customized design plan that can fully reflect the characteristics of the international school. This kind of design not only provides children with an environment where they can feel a strong learning atmosphere, but also allows children to grow up happily and enjoy a wonderful childhood.

Design Concept

When MooTon undertook this Maple Bear Canadian School, it fully considered this school running philosophy, school running characteristics and education aims to conceive a design solution that can highlight the school's advantages and focus on children’s learning and growth.

Therefore, the overall design plan of the kindergarten is conceived around the design theme of cultivating confident and happy children. Based on this design theme, MooTon applies the design style of simplicity and nature to create an interior environment where kids can make strong relationships, make positive choices, cultivate their critical thinking, nurture their potential, and inspire themselves to success.

Furthermore, the interior space design of the kindergarten uses wood color as the main color, supplemented by some bright colors to match the design theme and create a soft and energetic environment. At the same time, some elements from nature are added as decorations in the classroom to embellish the indoor space and add a lively atmosphere.

Total Functional Partitions

The kindergarten interior space design has five classrooms design including a 40㎡ classroom 1, a 60㎡classroom 2, a 53㎡ classroom 3, a 53 ㎡ classroom 4, and a 50㎡ classroom 5,and each classroom is equipped with high-quality kindergarten furniture.

Project Details

Classroom 1 

Since the space layout of the early childhood classroom presents an irregular shape, MooTon uses clever design creation to arrange the nursery setting furniture and make use of the utilization of the classroom, so a tidy and sunny early childhood classroom is built.

Classroom 2 

Classroom No. 2 is a kindergarten classroom facing the sun and the outdoors, with a square shape..Besides, this kindergarten classroom is the largest among the five classrooms.  Based on these characteristics, Classroom No. 2 is divided into multiple functional areas and has a unique soft interactive play area where children can communicate, play and grow together with their classmates.

Classroom 3 ＆Classroom 4

Classroom 3 and Classroom 4 have the same area, but the shape of the internal space is different. MooTon created an exclusive customized design plan for two early childhood education classrooms based on the on-site conditions. At the same time, MooTon also made some adjustments to the design layout of the two classrooms to maximize space utilization in the two kindergarten classrooms.

Classroom 5

In view of the fact that the shape of classroom 5 presents a rectangle and the space is limited, the MooTon design team used a clever design to place the best quality toddler furniture along the walls, which can make the entire classroom look spacious and comfortable.
