JK Kids Club Children Development Centre in Maldives

JK Kids Club Child Development Center is located in the Maldives and consists of an indoor activity room and an outdoor playground. The two amusement spaces of the JK Kids Club Children Development Centre constructed by MooTon Group both are designed around the ocean elements and the story of the mermaid as a design concept, and the two amusement spaces are not only an independent space but also a coordinated design integration. In the JK Kids Club Child Development Center, children can experience two ways of playing in two different environments and enjoy happy childhood and joyful moments.

Design Concept

Considering that Maldives is an archipelago country in South Asia and surrounded by the sea, the design team of MooTon Group decided to preserve and highlight the local marine characteristics, built the project into a marine-themed child development center, and integrated the fairy tale into the overall design concept, so that the design of the entire child development center is more full, rich and three-dimensional.Therefore, JK Kids Club Children Development Centre adopts the design concept incorporating the ocean and the story lines of mermaids and extracts lots of design elements from them to apply to the whole design, for example, adding the waves, coconut trees, mermaids, sea boats, etc, into the equipment shape or decorative background boards. In addition, the entire project uses multiple levels of blue, which can not only be consistent with the design theme, but also improve the layering of the space and distinguish different story application scenarios.

Two Kinds of Entertainment Space

Kids Club Child Development Center consists of two play spaces, an indoor activity room and an outdoor playground.

Customized Design Indoor Activity Room

The indoor activity room is designed around a story line. The story is that a little mermaid was accidentally injured and washed ashore, so the little mermaid could not return to the sea alone. As the brave and kind-hearted companion of the Little Mermaid, children will overcome a series of difficulties to help the Little Mermaid return home. The indoor play equipment in this indoor activity room simulates multiple theme scenes, allowing children to be immersed in the scene and have a pleasant theme play experience. Meanwhile, this indoor soft playground contains a theme wooden house playground with a plastic slide and rock climbing equipment, a soft pack beach building block area, a marine-theme rock climbing wall, some sensory integration training equipment, a stem wall, and some puzzled gameplay boards.

Customized Design Outdoor Playground

The outdoor playground for school is equipped with an adventure sailing treasure hunt theme playground and consists of two parts, including the prow and the hull. First of all, the hull part is a slide playground, while the bow part is a bow experience area with sails, designed to look like a mermaid pulling a sail.The device's application and appearance are designed to combine the game with the theme story, which perfectly reflects the theme storyline of the district's kind mermaid trying to save the wrecked ship. Besides, around this adventure-themed playground, a lot of sensory integration training equipment has been added to simulate the dangers of the sea, and some rocking horse equipment has been added to simulate lifeboats.
