Project Overview
This project is a specially designed children's play space for ages 1-7. The indoor area covers 120m² with a rectangular layout and a ceiling height of 3.3 meters. The goal is to create an integrated reading and play space, where children can explore the world of knowledge while engaging in imaginative and interactive activities. The project aims to foster creativity, physical development, and social interaction through a realistic and engaging play environment.
This forest-themed children's play space is designed to bring a sense of nature and wonder to children in the U.S. The space is divided into five functional zones:
- Children's Play Area
- Reading Area
- Adventure Training Zone
- LEGO Block Area
- Role-Playing Zone
The project provides a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment where children can develop essential skills while having fun.

Design Concept
The project follows the theme of "Forest Adventure", integrating natural elements with modern play structures to create a magical forest-like playland. The design prioritizes safety, interactivity, and fun, encouraging children to explore nature, develop their imagination, strengthen their physical abilities, and enhance their social skills.
- Color Scheme: The space features a natural palette of greens and browns to evoke a forest atmosphere, complemented by bright yellows and oranges to add energy and vibrancy.
- Lighting: Soft, warm lighting enhances the cozy and inviting environment.
The ultimate goal is to provide a fun, nature-inspired, and exploratory indoor play space where children can grow and learn through play.
Functional Zones
1. Children's Play Area
- Core Equipment: A large wooden playhouse slide combination inspired by forest treehouses, featuring soft climbing structures, slides, crawl nets, and tunnels. This setup encourages climbing, sliding, and adventure-filled exploration.
- Safety Features: The floor is covered with soft, eco-friendly PVC mats for safety. Surrounding elements include flower, tree, and animal decorations to enhance the playful atmosphere.

2. Reading Area
- Design Concept: Two giant "reading trees" serve as the central design feature.
- Structure: The tree trunks function as bookshelves, while the base includes soft cushioned seats for children to sit comfortably.
- Atmosphere: The walls are adorned with leaf-shaped cushions and cloud decorations, creating a calm and immersive reading environment where children can relax and enjoy books.

3. Adventure Training Zone
- Theme: Modeled after a forest expedition, this area includes:
o Balance soft pads
o Tunnels
o Arch bridges
- These elements enhance children's courage, balance, and coordination skills.

4. LEGO Block Area
- Feature: A large LEGO wall with various colors and shapes of LEGO blocks, encouraging children to develop creativity and problem-solving skills.
5. Role-Playing Zone
- Theme: A mini-forest kitchen and restaurant, featuring:
o Miniature kitchen appliances
o Tableware
o Realistic play food
- This setup allows children to experience imaginative role-playing, improving their social skills and practical abilities.
- Decor: The walls feature forest-themed decorations, enhancing the immersive experience.
